Delivery of the K to 12 curriculum demands diversified strategies and approaches to learning to achieve the embedded goal of 21st-century learning. This has posed a significant challenge to the Department of Education in general, specifically San Agustin National High School.
With the increasing demands of our learners to attain quality education, the school is incredibly motivated to enhance teaching personnel who are able to manage themselves and the learners well. Enhancement of the teachers’ competencies in these topics will eventually make the teacher more efficient and effective in her/his work. Thus, this will ensure better learning outcomes in the teaching-learning process.
As mandated by DepEd Order No. 32, series of 2017, also known as the Gender-Responsive Basic Education Policy, this Instructional Design commits to integrating the principles of gender equality, gender equity, gender sensitivity, non-discrimination, and human rights, in the provision and governance of basic education in the learning process. In view hereof, San Agustin National High School will conduct In-Service Training of Teachers (INSET) 2023 to enhance the teaching personnel’s competencies in self-management where they undertake personal actions and behaviors that are clear and purposive and considers personal goals and values congruent to that of the organization and display emotional maturity and enthusiasm for and is challenged by higher goals.
